#10 Peter “Peterbot” Kata $193,700

Keep in mind that some of these players regularly take breaks, mix up teams, and some even retire. The top active players can change a lot through each Fortnite season. This does not mean their contributions are worth any less, as many are showing off Fortnite live streams.

These are the 10 best Fortnite players going by their current earnings, and some stand-out players otherwise.

10. Peterbot

The undisputed best player of recent Chapters is Peterbot. The player shot to prominence quickly over the last few years, before absolutely killing it in Chapter 5. With Pollo, Peterbot won three FNCS events in a row. Beginning with Chapter 5 Season 2, and going on to win everything through the LAN at the end of the year. While he missed out in C6 S1, he won C6 S2 and the Pro-Am that followed the season after.

If current Fortnite tournaments had the prize pools of its first few years, Peterbot would be 1st on these lists. The player doesn’t show any sign of slowing down either, we can probably expect to rise higher over Chapter 6.

9. Th0masHD

One of the best players in Fortnite’s history is Th0masHD. He’s been setting the standard for the game in the highest-level tournaments for Chapters now. What’s a bit different from the rest of the best Fortnite players, though, is Th0masHD has never won the FNCS.

Despite it having run for Chapters and Chapters, Th0masHD has never quite claimed victory. He’s taken the runner-up prize plenty, but never the big one. If we’re going by earnings, there’s a major gap between 1st and 2nd. That ThomasHD is still one of the ten Fortnite players with the highest earnings shows just how consistently he’s been placing highly, even if he’s never grabbed the win.

8. Williams “Zayt” Aubin

Williams, 22 years old, was considered to be one of the top Fortnite pros in the world. His recent achievement was scoring 4th in the NA East division of the 2020 C2:S4 FNCS, winning a shared prize pool of $12,000. As of April 17th, 2021, Zayt has retired twice from competitive Fortnite, made the official and final announcement during a Q&A stream, and stepped down from the org, NRG.

He turned his attention to working with the community, coaching other players before deciding to change gears with Valorant. His total tournament earnings are $1,331,181.

5. Anas “Anas” El-Abd

Anas, 20 years old, is ranked #8 in the highest earnings for top Fortnite players in Denmark. His most recent achievements were winning 1st place in Mr Beast’s Extreme Survival Challenge, winning the prize pool of $1,000,000, and earning the victory royale in the Zero Build division of the 2022 Gamers8 tournament. The MrBeast challenge wasn’t exactly esports, but as a Fortnite tournament in-game, it counts for his earnings.

Though retired, he’s still a favorite among hardcore pro fans and considered to be one of the best Fortnite players in the world, with a combined follower/subscriber count of 147.8K between YouTube and Twitch.

1. Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf

One of the most famous Fortnite players, Kyle, 20 years old, is considered to be the best Fortnite player in the esports community. Earning the spotlight after winning the Fortnite World Cup in 2019, his popularity skyrocketed, becoming the #1 highest-earning Fortnite player in the United States.
